Bringing the nations to the churchCORRESPONDENCE SCHOOL The basic course curriculum can also be taught by correspondence - primarily through the Internet via email. There are three course titles, the opening chapter of which are available below as a sample download: 1. God's Heart for All NationsHow God Sees The Nations (from Genesis to Revelation) – God from the very beginning had the nations of the world on his heart. He actually brought them into being. He is known as the Desire for All Nations and His heart has always been to draw all men unto himself. In this course we survey from Genesis to Revelation the relationship between God and the nations, looking particularly at the role of Israel, Christ and the Church in bringing the ‘gentile nations’ unto Him. 2. God's Call for All NationsThe Mandate – God desires for all men to come unto Him and has provided through the cross and resurrection the means for this to come to pass. He has also given to His people, the Church, the task of bringing this message of salvation, hope and eternal life to the peoples of all nations. When the gospel has been preached to all nations then the end will come. In this course we look at the commission we have received, and the responsibility that goes with it. We also look at the authority we have been given to complete the task, and consider the high calling we have received to be part of His eternal plan so that we can understand our purpose and destiny in life. 3. God's Work in All NationsThe Church in The Nations – It is not by chance that we live in this moment of time of history when God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh. Contrary to certain rumours the Church of Jesus Christ is not dying, but is growing. In this course we look at the remarkable growth of the church in different parts of the world in recent years, and how it has been changing its composition and outlook. We look at the reasons for this growth and change and assess what lessons we can learn from it.
